my baby is 10 months old. Doc said she lacks calcium and zinc, growing too slow. She's had her two lower front teeth only. She doesn't like milk, and rejects solid food almost half of the time. It's a nightmare to feed her. I tried chicken, fish, beef, and bone soup. Nothing particularly succeeds. She always stops halfway thru meal, and doesn't continue no matter how short/long a pause i put. Does anybody got receipes for more calcium and zinc?

Remember, all babies are different sizes. More calcium and zinc won't make your baby grow faster if you and your partner are small. Does your doc think your baby needs to be longer or fatter?
See if you can find your own growth charts or pics to compare. Zinc WILL increase appetite, however.
Do a google search for zinc rich foods and try smaller meals more often. Also, let your baby feed herself. Some babies don't have ANY teeth until over one year old. Is she still breastfeeding?

calcium- so much food out there rich in calcium as STB suggested! but just in case your girl is not a fan is green veggies, i think cheese or yoghurt will be fabulous. buy blocks of cheddar, slice them into tiny strips and give as a snack. buy greek yoghurt (not as strong tasting as natural plain yoghurt but less sweet than flavoured baby ones) and add fresh fruits to them as part of breakfast.
what are you feeding her for breakfast? if you say she hates milk, will she take it via breakfast cereals e.g. oats? oats take quite abit of milk so a great way to sneak in all the calcium!
as for rejection of meats and fish - hang in there, my son is 16 months, lots of his friends HATE meat. i think it's very much an acquired taste and the texture is a turn-off for some too. maybe reduce the amt you give, see how she takes it and slowly increase the portions again.
not finishing her meals - children don't always finish their meals, you have to accept that. if she is sending very clear signals, then just clear the food, don't say anything. don't make it a battle during mealtimes.
portions - divide the portion of each meal. my son gets very put off if i put a whole bowl of food in front of him. so i always divide it. i feed him half, then he has a water break (that's another thing, don't feed her too much water during the meal unless she has consumed at least half the meal as water can bloat the child up and ruin appetites) before we continue with the rest.
good luck!
