Your neighbour is in breach of the law - call the Health Department or the Govt. hotline and they will investigate for you.

Yes! Sashimi Girl dripping aircons do! - one of the reasons that it is now illegal to have dripping aircons since the SARS outbreak. Dripping aircons are one of the main sources of Legionairs Disease. WoDer, sorry when my aircon was dripping I can definately say it was not condensation and 99% or the time condensation is not the cause - generally due to lack of maintenance and pipe blockages. Avoid walking under dripping aircons if at all possible as the water can be really nasty.

I have to agree, dripping is not good and you will get fast action if you report it even to the police. They will help too. Just don't call 999 maybe wait til you see one walking by.

My best bet, if you have not already done so is to tell the management guy and grab him up to see the dripping. If seen in many buildings that they will post up a "general" notice reminding tenants that dripping air-con are illegal.

Then if it does come to a stage whereby you do have to call the EPD, atleast you have a witness and proof something is wrong. EPD comes around sometimes unscheduled, so they may not actually see the dripping unless the flat above you has the air-con on 24/7.

Good luck.
