Hi, with my first baby due in September, I need to start thinking about finding a pediatrician. Does anyone have someone they love/would recommend very highly? Thanks!

Where are you based? Dannie Ting is a good pediatrician, she has an office in Central and she also works at Canossa Hospital.
Dr. Yvonne Ou is very good as well, my baby sees her in DB but I think she has offices in Repulse Bay and in Wan Chai too.

We had an emergency last week and our baby was rushed to hospital and stayed there for three days. I telephoned my baby's pediatrician, Dr. Ou, and she told me that she was too busy! She had our details and didn't make any follow up calls to see if our baby was alright.
As a result, after a recommendation from the public hospital, we used Dr. Mark Chan. He was highly attentive and reassuring. He made all the necessary arrangements for our baby to be transferred into a private hospital and organised all the tests and CT Scans. He even telephoned us on the public holiday, after she had already been discharged and check to see that she was doing well.
I think a good pediatrician for your baby is essential!
