Just wanting peoples feedback on what they think is the best way to get rid of an apt in HK? Private sale, agents, etc?
Anyone got some good recommendations, sick of the agent hype and bs!

Private sale saves you money on agent's commission but if you advertise in the newspaper you'll obviously have to pay for that. And then you have to be willing to spend as much time as it takes showing the flat to prospective purchasers. A friend of mine recently sold his flat this way and he said he must have shown it at least 50 times.
If the flat's empty, are you willing to give keys to loads of agents? That would probably cause you the least hassle as you then wouldn't have to go there, you could just leave them to show it to as many clients as possible.
If you advertise in the paper, you'll probably get calls from lots of agents anyway.
