Thanks, I have looked at it, but the closest seems to be in Kowloon, not anything up near Festival Walk. I thought perhaps one had opened up in K'loon Tong area and had not been updated on website. Thanks for the help.

"the closest seems to be in Kowloon". Kowloon is a big area.
There's actually a PO in Shek Kip Mei (Nam Cheong St, I think) which in terms of pure distance isn't that far from Festival Walk (I've walked it many times). However, depending on your situation it might not be close enough.

Thanks for that. I am very new to HK (just over a week and staying in temporary accommodation until we move to our apartment in 3 weeks). I really only know the KT area being as we are settling in beacon hill. I will look at my trusty and now very dogeared street directory. thanks again!

neenib,
i think the most convenient post office you will find is in Lok Fu. It is a pulic housing estate. One stop from Kowloon Tong MTR station. But, there is a free shuttle bus running from Beacon Hill to Lok Fu. Starts at 8am to 9pm dailying, every 20mins. The post office itself is not too easy to find, but when you get off the shuttle bus it is also the Lok Fu MTR station and ask the staff there, most will speak some chinese. Anyways, post office in chinese is "yau goac".
At Lok Fu, you will also find a Jusco (japanese) supermarket, ParknShop and Wellcome. What they stock up is more for locals I must say, but things like bread, milk and eggs always there. If you want a most extensive international variety, Taste at Festival Walk is still much better.
The shuttle bus route is on the main roadup Beancon Hill. Best bet is to ask the management guy at you buidling and I'm sure he can point you to where the shuttle stops.
