I need a help about some restaurant etiquette. Is it considered appropriate in HK to take leftover wine home? Are the waiters usually cooperative in this regard? Thank you for your input.

Interesting question. I have never tried but I doubt HK laws are anywhere near as restrictive as the UK or the US about alcohol. It's your wine, just ask to take it home. Hopefully they/you have saved the cork/cap.

I've actually done this -- asked the waiter for leftover wine... the staff was totally cool with it. Don't be embarassed to ask!
