Anyone have any idea when the new iphone it's availabe for sale in HK as I know it's already available in US already.

I have seen them in shops here, with guys buying it from the States and trying to sell it in HK. However, as they are all locked to run on AT&T network in USA there is no way to unlock it YET to use here...

I am sure that it is available to buy in hong kong now *UNLOCKED*
according to reports, it can now run on *ANY* HK network providing it has been unlocked using a "Turbo sim" see www.bladox.com
i am not sure how this works and have been advised not to try myself as its an expensive mistake but rumour has it that they are available in HK shops for the princly sum of $2000 USD.
from further investigation it seems that all the iPhone functions are useable as well as the basic call functions.
tempted as i am, the double original price is still a bit too high for me and i would like to see how apple retaliates first with its software updates before i invest in an apple branded paperweight.
ps: i do not know which shops sell this or where they are but a guess would be Mong Kok's smaller phone shops.
if anybody does find one then please pm me the address.
