I was wondering is there a fragnace, perfume, colon or something that can be applied ot the baby to smell sweet or nice? Are there any side effects, and is it ok for a 12month old?

Mrs M, babies smell magnificent - like talcum powder - even if you havent put any on! Maybe a nice bath liquid (for babies). Anything else is too harsh on their skin. If you want something a little special - instead of the supermarket Johnsons brand for instance, try Crabtree and Evelyn or Mustala. I used to use Aroma Baby in the bath for my little one (Aussie brand but you can get it in HK) and it smelt divine. I used the Crabtree and Evelyn Tom Kitten talc on her bottom and also the cream - only occasionally - and she smelt good enough to eat. Babies skins are sooooo delicate as you know - be careful. Before you know it she will be spraying herself in the bathroom! My four year old loves my Pure Poison by Dior!!!!!

Thanks Just that he used to smell mmmhhhh wonderful before he was hospitalized and had tonnes of antibiotics pumped into him due to the ailment, now he smells different when he sweats and was worried if he is unwell, thats why I wish to apply something on him for a while hehehe
will try the crabtree or mustella thanks dear.

Our baby was hospitalised a few weeks ago and had antibiotics too - it made her wee smell terrible, it also gave her a diaper rash (first time for either of our kids) and we had to use Desitin which also smells terrible (it has cod liver oil in it)!!
But the good news is, after about a week it all goes away...
Try a nice smelling baby bath as suggested above... and I hope baby is better soon!
