Where has the pollution gone?

It's another beautiful day! No pollution and can see for miles - unfortunately I'm stuck in the office but you can't have everything.

Anyone know why it has been so pollution-free recently? Has an earthquake razed all the Guangzhou factories? Or have they build a masssive fan at the border?

Anyone?

Yep - you really appreciate how impressive HK harbour and skyline is when it is like this.

I am not an expert- but I think when the weather pattern comes from the south all the pollution gets blown back into China. Not a very scientific explanation-

the issue was covered at SCMP, mainly the wind comes from the ocean during summer.

during the 1st july week, it was the best, mainly our minister was visiting and all the factory at canton was "ordered" to turn down the machine.
