I'm a bit of a car lover and I see a lot of cheap BMW/Mercedes whats the cost of owning a car yearly tax/insurance and is there an age kms where they get taken off the road. I don't expect to drive much.

Great posts Dwarfthrower et al. What do you reckon the overall cost of running a car per month is? Assuming only using it a bit at weekends/evenings and not including price of car. Would $4,000 per month be enough. Definately looking low end of the car market
