No, while Mayer is indeed in the Mandarin Oriental, there is another custom-shoe place in Prince’s Building. Somewhat more upscale/expensive than Mayer, with the main difference being that they make a custom set of lasts for everybody.

The one in Princes Building, used to have a branch in Fleet Arcade that was cheaper! I think it might still be there.
