Moving from HK to Singapore soon and need a moving company to ship / cargo furniture. How does cargo shipping work and anyone with good recommendations? I have quite a bit of furniture mainly unbreakable Ikea stuffs but have some nice teak furniture and oriental lamps which require special handling. Sante Fe seems so expensive. I don't have tonnes of cash to throw around so a reasonably-priced but honest & reliable mover is what I am looking for.

How long does shipping generally take (don't want to be in situation where I am stuck in an empty apt in S'pore)?
