My bubs is coming upto 1 soon and he still do not want to sit in his highchair (he stands on it which is very dangerous or wriggle his way down at the bottom)for his solids not sit in his stroller (he cries really hard and twist his body) when we go out. We always had to end up sitting him on our laps for his solids and carrying him when we go out. Is there a way to train him to sit in these? It is getting harder as we end up taking in turns to eat our food and carry our son.

My baby also refuses to sit in highchairs now. His sister has the Safety first booster seat, you can deflate and inflate and attach to any chair.
We got another one for him. He LOVES sitting with us at the table for meals now. He even started feeding himself now.
Try to get one of those, very handy when we are out for meals, and not necessary to have to choose restaurant that has highchairs.

Thanks katetam. We used to put him in his bumbo seat and that was alright up till he could crawl out himself and then we tried the highchair a few times each time without success. We see many babies sitting on highchairs and on those chicco portable seats that are clamped onto the table in both UK and in HK and we think, wouldn't it be great if ours could sit quietly too - it would have made life much easier.
Do the booster seat have safety belts and where do they sell them and how much?

It has the lap three point part belt. If baby REALLY tries, he can get out, but it would take a while, and at 1 .... it might not be possible yet, my baby is 18 months... so he knows how to do it. But he enjoys sitting there... of course reasonable amount of time, 20 minutes for his meal sit.... that's it.
I got mine recently at Toys R Us, $ 269.00
Remember not the HARD one... the soft, deflatable/inflatable one that you can zip up easily and flat to take out to restaurants.
It's really good.. alot of my friends have two. One for at home, and one that is always for going out.
