Hi all, I want to change the helper who has been taking care of my 7 months old baby since he was born. My concern is that he will be a little bit emotionally traumatized. He is very attached to her, and only likes her to put him to sleep at night time. Anyone changed helpers when kids are this young? Can you share your experience? My baby is a little bit shy, sometimes will cry if strangers try to hold him.

We changed, no handover period, baby was fine after 1-2 days. I worried a lot before too, but it all worked out great. Just try to be around more the first week or two to really train the new helper in how you want her to do things and to reassure your baby.
