It's easy in HK to find someone willing to charge upwards of 500-1000 for a haircut, but have tried them, and they dont seem any more special than any other place. Is there a place out there that is of good value where they speak, and more importantly understand, english?
thanks.

I want to try Fudge next month when I'm due for a cut.
D-Man, I just had yet another experience with a very expensive salon hacking my bangs off way too short.
It is just so upsetting - he is a westerner too !!

banmenot, ai sorry to hear about that (hope it wasnt any of my team). It seems to be a common problem i hear often with stylists cutting bangs/fringes too short. I always offer free bangs/fringe maintainence for my clients as I believe most of them would prefer to come in to have them trimmed a little every 2-3 weeks rather than having them cut short and lasting longer. Maybe this is something you can try to mention to your stylist, tell them you would rather come in every couple of weeks to trim it so you can keep it longer. At leaast it will make the point crystal clear that you dont want them cut too short.
