We are looking to arrange/attend a wine tasting in August with a group of people for my husbands fathers 60th birhtday.

Does anyone know of a place that does this for the public? and approximately how much it costs?

A great place is the cheese room at Classified, the place on 108 Hollywood Rd. It is owned by the Press Room people. they also import a lot of wines directly - I know because I did a seminar there once and it was fantastic.

My wine club is decorated like a wine cellar, and they offer their venue for parties. They have wine tastings for the public every Friday, so you can go try them out first. Go to http://www.cellarmasterwines.com.

The Crown Wine Cellar would be a stunning setting... They do arrange for small private functions.


Or arrange with Magnolia to have a private dinner and then with one of the wine importers to have a selection of wine and do your own private tasting - I am sure both Magnolia and the wine importers would be happy to help!
