I am a beginner learning to write Chinese and would like to be able to type Chinese - ideally using the Sidney Lau romanization system however would try other systems too. Would appreciate any recommendations of programs that are available on the web or that I could buy for such purpose.

I have a HP Pavilion v7058hk with Windows Vista. I have installed NextOffice 9 which Fortress told me would enable me to type in both English and Chinese, but I haven't managed to find the Chinese capability. Computer also comes with Microsoft Works. Thanks.

Hi,

I have study cantonese as well and I scoured the internet and various other sources for a font that allows you to type Cantonese using the English alphabet....I finally found a custom font for typing the Yale Romanization method for Cantonese. If you call our office (2815-2520 - AsiaXPAT) I can send the font to you via email.

Ask for John

Oh...trust me...there are no other options out there....
