I noticed the brand of birth control pills I use sold at Watsons on the shelf. Could it really be the same thing as my prescription pills? I'm running out of the supply I moved here with. It'd be nice to replenish without finding a doctor for a new prescription. Does anyone know if BC pills are sold OTC? Thank you!


ps. I WILL ask the pharmacist too but I thought I'd check with everyone here first :)

Absolutely! Handy, isn't it? Although it's still a good idea to get a physical every so often if you are on the pill.

Yipee. It's about 1/10th of the cost as back home. I always get a yearly exam but it's nice to have pills available as needed. Thanks Claire!

I have just moved from the Uk and am taking Micronor - they didn't have this brand in Mannings - does anyone know anywhere that sells it or another brand that can replace Micronor?

They are cheaper if bought in the street pharmacists and even cheaper yet if you go to 'Boots' in Bangkok and stock up on them there.
