Ok, I'm taking the step as i move into a new flat to change all my lightbulbs to 'green' ones (and after watching Oprah last night) - is there anyone selling them in HK yet?

If you mean the low-energy fluorescent ones, every place sells them. You may even find that your flat already has them, I know ours did.

is that as green as we can go with our lightbulbs? There was a particular brand referred to last night which I assumed to be more effective than some? Great that your flat hkkm already has them!
