i know joshmmon posted a thread awhile back about sunblock for kids but my pregnant brains are hindering my ability to navigate the site properly!
so a quick poll with parents here, what sunblock do you recommend that is best for the face/neck/eyes/hands/legs and when in contact with water will not start running and irritating your tot's eyes? he wears a wetsuit with SPF so i'm not worried about the rest of his body.

BADGER was the one that they suggested on that study, so that is what we use now - I was just lucky that the one I was using before ran out so could buy some from:

Our baby wears a swim suit too with SPF, but we still put sunblock underneath as it isn't perfect.

have not seen badger in sg but we have mustela, will take a look at that. any recommendations for one less than spf50? not sure how things have changed but in uni when i did an elective on cosmetics and perfumes, we were told that the extra chemicals in higher spf products might do more harm than good and that sticking to those in the 30s range will be better. as a result, have always stuck to that rule.

went out just now but no badger to be found. in the end, i bought a mustela, but a spf 30 version.
but since badger is so highly recommended, will definitely try to look out for it for future use!

I bought Ultrasun's Kids Formula Reflex 30 for my cousins and it is very good. It is a swiss brand - the good thing is that it is not sticky or oily - very easy on the skin. You can find them at selective shops - such as at Cricket Club, Golf Club or the Never second Shop at Prince's building and Gigasports at PP. I personally used the non kids ones and I love it. I can't feel it on my skin after the application!

Found this great shop in the basement of Raffes City (Singapore)on Sunday called Phyto Organics. They sell Lavera, Florame, Mukti and Trillium brands. They have kids products and sunblock there. Lavera scores really well for most products. They also sell ladies/ mens face and body products and hair products. Prices not too steep either.
