Does anybody know where I can get sand for a childs sandpit ? Thanks.

You used to be able to get it at the parents preschool association PPA in mid levels I think it is on Borret road just opposite the island school. I got it for a school fair and you needed to carry it down a couple of flights of stairs so give them a ring and check.
