I went for their interview a few years ago(as a fresh grad) and for your information out of 400,500 ppl they hired like what...2 ppl? I made the first few selections so I know..it's rather ridiculous, especially for 12k a month.

With regards to interviews' style, big org are moving towards "Behavioral Interviewing" approach.

Interview questions are developed based on the required skills for a particular job, which require candidates to respond/share past experiences. You will be assessed to determine which skills/competencies you have demonstrated successfully in previous jobs.

This is a comprehensive probing on how you had reacted in a past similar situation. No RIGHT OR WRONG Answer.

Assumption is that candidates will react similarly in the future as they did in the past.

Good Luck!

Strawberry shortcake,

I want to clarify on the generic interviewing & hiring process of org. who does use the appropriate interviewing tools & interviewers.

FYI, I have no connection with Emirates.

Typically, when large organizations have recruitment drive, interviewer's responsibility is focus on getting the right people for the job.

Interviewing assessment is on the specific job skills/competencies.

At times, it can also be a case of offering a different job within the org after the interview if the org has the open positions.

If hiring is "low", so be it.

I know that it is frustrating to spend a lot of time to go through the interviewing process and be unsuccessful.

But, any employer will not want to hire wrongly, which can result in attrition & jeopardizing the company's workflow/plans/cost.

Haha I guess my EQ was not high enough ..altho I do make that money now yes. What appealed to me about that job was that one would be based in Dubai otherwise I don't think I would even consider to be a stewardess..but it was indeed very cool !! good luck to you all.
