Can anyone suggest what I can buy for my friends one yr old daughter? I have absolutely no idea...any ideas welcomed, cheers

Books are great - especially ones with 'peek a boo' flaps.
Gift Certificate to Paddyfield.com for the parents to buy their own book.
If you buy clothing - Size 2 years and up is always good.
A great toy would be a piece of string with big beads to thread - more appropriate for 18-24 months, so it will last a long time.
Alternatively, something small for the kid, and a gift certificate for mummy to congratulate her for surviving the first year!!!
