We are drinking so much we want to get order bottled water by the 15litre or similar, it makes me shudder each time we throw out the empty bottles.
Who do you recommend for price and taste.
We live in Sai Kung and the tap water is less than good at our place, do water purifiers on the tap make that much difference?
Our water consumption is approx 3 - 6 litres per day.
Thanks in advance

Have you tried just boiling your tap water ?? that way you can just continue to recycle all the bottles you use to keep in the fridge ..
If yu are keen on reducing your impact this is deff the way to go .. or as you said a purifier - purifiers need not be on the tap they can come in many different forms just shop around abit ... it may all taste a little diff at first but you will adjust

Isn't Bonaqua just regular water that has minerals added?

Bonaqua is mineral water. Better than Watsons distilled....
Boiling water and reusing bottles is not a good idea...the bottles arent designed to be reused...
Try searching Life Solutions.. they do water purifiers...They have pretty good systems

Brita water filters are very, very good and fit in the fridge. Downstairs at Wing On.

agree with mark palmer, reusing bottles is bad idea, + boiled water is very heavy for diggestion.
However Bonaqua is not mineral water it is mineralized water, means take some watsons distilled and throw in some minerals.
Filter it is at home and happy with it for years!

I have a Doulton water filter installed and I highly recommend it. Filters out the dirt and heavy metals, but keeps the minerals. Lots of debate about drinking pure distilled water and whether it leaches out the goodness.
Also enviromentally friendly. There are table top models, as well as under sink models. You can keep cleaning the filters and re-using them for a long time. Mine is still going after 18 months with a household of six.
Get them at Wing On in Taikoo Shing, or Citistore at Po Lam

Bonaqua isnt mineral water. Its mineralized water. Its normal tap water that is run through a reverse osmosis filter which strips all but the tiniest impurity's, including the minerals. They then say they ad the minerals back..which would be great except evidence points to those minerals added are not bio available....meaning your body eliminates them. The prob here is the water if consumes long term would leach your bones of minerals..

I get the filter. Not too sure if it really works properly but at least not direct from the tap water.
