I am looking for any information regarding obtaining a working VISA for a freelace working person that has no sponsoring company. The company I worked for for over a year now just released me after I caught them lying to me. EVen though I have made them great money, they cancelled all my future jobs and sent me out the door. Apparently you are not suppossed to think... you are just expected to do. So now I am trying my best to find a way to stay here, and manage my career on my own.
I thought I had found a solution with a very well known agent, but in the end all I received was another ONE YEAR EXCULSIVE Contract in all aspects of modeling and entertainment mediums. I really need to speak with someone that would know my rights concerning my previous employer, and who could help me secure my new working visa in HK>?
Thanks.

What you require is your own business to sponsor you here in HK or failing that a more understand employer; we can assist with both. Essentially provide a current CV and body of work and draft up a plan as to what you are intending to do (is it for examples a situation where you would like to act as a platform for like minded people in your situation; would you like to train others in your professions;provide a list of assignments you have completed in HK and historically; and so on).
An application to the immigration department can be made based on the FACT of your previous employment in HK and a well drawn business plan and covering introduction letter......all of which we can do if you don't feel confident.
We would be pleased to assist if you wish professional help. Contact our Mr. Shane Weir.
