insecure and needy,.. damn!

Having slight issues, and I need to get it off my chest. So I'm thanking in advance, for those who come across this to hear me moan..

*Left an opened box of Galaxy to say thank*

I've been living in HK for the past 2 years, yet I still feel like a stranger! Leaving UK, I knew what I was expecting, but I didn't grasp how intense the lonliness can be. My social schedule would be tight back home, so the extreme difference from then and now is bothering me.. alot! I feel the cheese molding in your fridge, is having more of an exciting time than I am!

* Hope you don't mind,..light's up a Marlboro*

When I first got here, I met a few people here and there, however the friendship was never fixed. If I suggest a coffee, movie, or just to hang out it'll instantly be considered a date and a bit on the side!

I'm in a relationship, and it recently turned into a distant-one ( I keep telling to myself, it'll only be temporary!!) but I'm abit unsure. I feel like I'm holding onto him, for the wrong reasons.

Has/ Is anyone on a similar boat? I could do with a few good words.

*opens a box of Marlboro.. You want one? *

*opens up the Marloboro reds.. Can't do lights, Jack sorry*

I do work full time, as a Pre-nursery teacher and I tutor. Therefore the social life amongst the staff isn't quite 'happening'..

I recently joined Pure yoga/ fitness in MK, so I'm .. well, will be.. doing something about it.

I just find it hard, sometimes of understanding who I am, as well. I'm a BBC, and I've never felt or been treated so differently, since coming over. It's not that I don't undestand the locals, its just the ones I've come across so far, don't seem to understand me.

Thanks for the replies..

Errm, dwaddling on the bike at the gym and an occasional yoga class here and there, is basically my limits! *hence the bad Marlboro habit*

Although, I am weak for movies and theatre!
