I have a chinese windows computer that I have recently upgraded from windows vista to windows vista ultimate according to those who advised me to get this upgrade this should allow me to change the language windows operates in ie. the language I receive my windows commands instructions. However I can't work our how change my operating language and I don't want to be put on hold on the support line yet again so if anyone can help please.......
PS I do know how to change my input langauge just not my operating language.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no way to change the base language of Vista or any other windows operating system.
You will need to go to your computer market and ask for the English version of Vista. Though, I personally can't think of a reason why anyone would want Vista. XP is a much better choice for 90% of what people generally use a PC for.
