A friend of mine has a 6-yrs old and she only eats eggs, rice, chicken and fries - no vegetables at all! I have suggested her to make potato cake mixed with veggies and draw a happy face on them with ketchup, and minced chicken mixed with veggies and pan fry or bake in interesting shapes. Do you have any suggestions? Seems like if she can see the veggies then she won't touch the food at all.
Thanks!
By the way - any good book on this topic for mom and for the child? I would like to get one and send it to my friend but not sure which one to order - quite a big selection on Amazon.com.
Thanks!

The recent article about the power of McBranding and the allure of Mcdonalds -

the main point - continue to offer "good foods" and try to limit the exposure kids have to TV. Lots of great tips here including making mealtimes enjoyable and fun - the way it is at McDonalds.
the other major tip - INVOLVE the child - at 6, they can peel veggies, chop some softer things, and sort of mix it up a bit - a great experience for them and actually sometimes encourages them to eat better!
