Good Vacuum - Bagless - Any recommendations?

Does anyone have a good bagless vacuum that they can recommend? If so, what's the make and where'd you buy it? Looking for one that's good with carpet (not thick, or shaggy). Uprigth or not. Just bagless and not more than $1200. Cheers.

If you want a bagless one I suspect that you wil need to spend more than $1200 on it.

I bought a bagless one...Philips i think and paid just over $500

I had a hoover hurricane - did well with the vacuming but with no bag it was a hell of a mess to empty - never again will I have a bagless one - why would you want to?
