Hi,
I would like to get a rug made to fit a room. What I want to find is a carpet shop which could cut a piece of carpet roll to size and then whip the edges (so it doesn't fray). Does any know where to find good carpet shops in HK? I've been to Ap Lei Chau where there a couple of places to buy carpet, but their prices seem completely over the top.

Go for a walk down Queens Road East and ask in all the shops. There are many shops there that will make somehting for you.
I had a rug made by Lux Curtain (on Queens Road East) and I couldn't have asked for better service or a better rug! It probably wasn't the cheapest place I could have found, but they made something up to our own design.
