I'm very fond of eating chinese food - absolutely localised. But cannot go to any of the restaurants on my own since cannot understand the menu. Many chinese restaurants do have english menu, but that is for the special food and expensive ones. Are there any absolutely local chinese restaurants which have english menu also, preferably on HK side?? Pls. help

Try City Hall dim sum. No need for a menu as they push the trolleys around and you can just ask them to lift the covers and see what's inside.

vanillapod1, pls. excuse my ignorance, is it the city hall or a resto named City Hall,

Family coming over and they want the same service as in Soho(London).

Anywhere else recommended. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip vanillapod1, next time I'll surely give it a try. Lot better than waiting for a chinese friend to take me for dim sum. But like Taps, I also have the same question. Is this place in the city hall or a rest named city hall. Thanks
