try this:
i call it my baked spanish rice:
2 cups rice
broth of choice just enough to cook rice
ground meat/pork/chicken
peppers
assorted vegsof choice(frozen carrots/peas/corn) etc)
tomato sauce
an onion
few cloves of garlic
oil to sautee
salt and pepper
1)sautee meat, onion, vegs
2)wash uncooked rice and mix with meat and veg
3) this is the tricky part..
put in oven at the very minimum heat setting (100 c) for about 15mins or until rice is fluffy and cooked
(you have to check frequently to keep it from burning.. :D )
serve hot with some grated cheese.... yummy!!!
this recipie is very versatile.. you can put what you want in it.. say bacon sausages etc..
