Hi


Has anyone used the Medela, 'Swing' Breast pump. This is the one I was planning to get and I would really appreciate feedback from Mums' who've used this before I go out and buy it.


Also, If you've used any other breast pump that you think is worth recommending.

(Editing my post now that I have read the other threads regarding breast pumps on this forum - I just wanted to add that at approx 650 USD I cannot afford the Medela PIS although it sounds great!)

Hi..i have been using the new Avent ISIS electric breast pump and i find it really great...very easy to use and maintain...

I am using Medela Swing. I would highly recommend it. It's quiet and easy to operate, and it's comfortable. I'm still using it to pump at work.

Thank you both! I'm going to order it off Ebay or Amazon and get my brother to ship it to me. I have 5 weeks till my EDD and will wait at least 4 weeks after baby is born to start bottle feeding so I think I have heaps of time.


I've just started reading up about breast feeding and expressing. Didn't realise it was as complicated as it sound *gulp*
