Does anyone know of any hotel that allows one to bring a pet? (The Conrad used to but doesn't any longer) Or a service apartment that does and does not require a minimum stay of a month? (Some of the Shamas do but require a month.)

Depends on if you're looking for a long stay package or not. If you're wanting to stay in the hotel long term, then many hotels will allow you to do so, Grand Hyatt has done it for one of their long term guests. But if you're planning on staying short term only, then most will not.

I've read that the Mandarin Oriental Landmark does if you arrange it in advance. I would double-check with them if I were you.
