Hi there

I've just arrived in Hong Kong and have some friends coming over to watch the 7's in March. I hear that the tickets sell out pretty quickly so keen to try and get some in advance. Could anyone please let me know the best way of doing this and how much I should expect to pay. Many thanks

The HKRFU has a number of tickets sold through the various rugby clubs in HK to ensure that those involved in the game have access to tickets.

You can join one of the local rugby clubs as a playing or social memeber, join the referee society or the HKRFU's Union Club or if you have kids, join a mini rugby club.

Membership varies betwen clubs and depending on the type of membership.

Check out the HKRFU's website at www.hkrugby.com for club contact details.

Or you can risk trying to buy them at the public sale................

In the past, each paid up financial member of the HKRFU has been entitled to purchase two tickets (membership $300 per person), and rugby club members are also entitled to purchase two tickets (membership about $500 per person).

Benefit of joining a rugby club as opposed to the HKRFU is that financial membership of some of the clubs (Valley I think is one) get you discounts at an assortment of bars and restaurants.

Don't risk it with the "public sale" (aka farce) if you have friends coming from overseas.
