Hi,
We had a beautiful little girl in April. When I first got pregnant it was with twins and I subsequently lost 1. I was ok with it (sort of) but having just returned from maternity leave I have been asked a few times about my twins (3 times in the last couple of days). I have responded with a 'unfortunately, we lost one, but our little girl is gorgeous' before swiftly moving on. The poor person who asked is left looking awkward and biting their lip.
I'm not sure if I am handling the response properly or if there is a better way to let people know.
