I see this soundproofing "blanket" that one can hang on the wall on ebay... but they don't ship to HK. Wondering if anyone knows how to sound absorb or sound proof a place of 350 sq feet without costing over $ 10 000 as some contractor has quoted me for a wall, they use the square sound proof tiles that have to be installed on the wall. Expensive, and when I finish renting the place, it's money down the drain.

what do you need to sound proof?? music or general noise?? there are general hardware places down in Wan Chai - there are some that sell Rockwool - a thick yellow sheet of soundproof type material - u can read up on it on the net. it's not too much - just depends on whether it suits your purpose.

I added a carpet today, (as suggested by the tuner), it's MUCH better. Will look into the Rockwool. Thanks.

carpet and close ur window is enough.. but u might hv to turn on the air conditioning since it's so hot now~
