Hi,my baby is 6 1/2 months old, would like to homade apple puree instead of buying it off counter. Can anyone please tell me how to make and storage. Thanks much.

Hi Saikunga, thnx much for your advice. I've puree one apple and keep in a glass jar. when u freeze the apple puree , do u warm it up for baby when in use or just let it defrost in room temp?

Just another tip- Try adding cinnamon to the apple puree either before freezing it or when serving to baby. I did it when my baby was 7 mths old and she loves it. Ditto on pear. Also try making baked peaches- a big hit.

We also food processed raw apples for my baby and she ate them no problem. Froze immediately in ice cube trays. Probably important to wash well before peeling if you aren't going to cook them.
Oh, and mangoes. If baby could live on mangoes alone, she would.
