Hi, I have a tendency to get white patches on my nail. Which generally go away as the nail grows. But taking multi vitamins doesnot really help. Can u help me.


Recently I am facing another problem. In my right foot the thumb has a white patch which is not like any other white patch. This one has a hole. What could this be? And how can I cure it?

Punctate leukonychia can be caused by zinc deficiency. Some people need a bit more than others, how much are you taken now?


Punctate leukonychia can also be caused by other things too, such as illnesses or trauma to the matrix. And sometimes no cause can be found.

maybe u r right claire I do have a tendency to get zinc deficiency since I am a vegetarian.
