Hi, any thoughts on whether the Quinny Buzz is better than the Quinny Zapp? Also, is the Quinny more generally a good choice, i.e. if you have one, do you like it? Any drawbacks? Will be using it for a newborn...
Thanks!

Wishing and Hoping, if you are going to use it from birth, you can only use the Zapp with the Maxi-cosi car seat until the child is about 6 months old, at which point you can switch to the fabric seat. Then the seat does not recline, which is not a problem for some children, but my 3 have all slept in buggies, so recline is important to me.
I have a Zapp, but it's the 4th buggy that I bought. I simply use it to wheel the car seat while shopping etc (but it has no storage for shopping) and because it folds up small enough to fit in an overhead locker in an airplane. Serves those purposes well.
My best value stroller is my Maclaren XT, but that does not accommodate the car seat, however, I suspect that it's the only one that I will use once we've moved beyond the Maxi-cosi.
I have a Phil and Teds for when I have 2 children who need to be pushed at a time. Our baby does not seem to like it though. With my second child, it was a Godsend, but the cocoon was much more suitable for a British winter than a HK summer. It will probably be useful again once two children need to sit for longer walks etc.
I also had a Bugaboo Chameleon and actually gave it away because I found it quite a pain to fold up etc. It also takes a Maxi-cosi, but also takes carrycot etc. Most people love it though. My friend (to whom I gave it) raves about it, but she seldom uses it in cars - mostly walks around the wider footpaths in London with it.
The Buzz (which I do not have) is more comparable to the Bugaboo. It might be worth doing a search on threads on both.
Hope this helps and hope that you do not end up with as many strollers cluttering your garage as I do. Unfortunately, I have not found a single pram that suits all purposes. My Maclaren is the closest in terms of versatility, but useless with car seats though. Good luck!

hello, we have the Zapp and it is fine, but, yes, you need the maxi cozy car seat to start with. It is very light and am generally happy with it.
Drawbacks - the seat does not tilt back at all - so forget any snoozing in it really, so we only use it when going for a walk which does not involve naps!
- you CANT hang anything on the handles - very easy to tip over even with small-ish bag!
- absolutely no "storage" - not even for a bottle of milk.

Hi, I am using Zapp, it is good for baby over six months' old. But I found it is difficult to fold the stroller by one hand.
