Shopping for clothes size 10 to 18?

ORIGINAL POST

I am looking at the possibility of setting up a business that caters for clothing sizes 10 to 18 for western women. I am looking at casual and work based wear and also the possibility of larger size footwear for women. Firstly, I want to know if people are interested and secondly, would they prefer website purchases or being able to look on racks and shelves and try on? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide me.

Display racks and a spacious fitting room please. And a variety of clothes that include fun, young and funky styles. Include tees, jeans, underwear and swimwear. I'm a US 12, size 41 shoes. Having choices other than M&S and H&M would be nice.

Shoes more than clothes and definitely shop wouldn't buy from unknown internet site. A choice of good shoes around HKD1000-2000 would be a dream.

I'd prefer the shoes around $300-500, similar prices to M&S. And definately larger bras.

Lovely, especially if it fits Western frames (= bigger bust, broader shoulders, larger hips & bum + longer arms & legs) : i know i can fit in local clothes, but if i put my breasts in, I look like i am really pregnant as it does not fit the waist...

If I find trousers to accomodates my hips & bum, then the waist is baggy as well.

And shirts, jackets, coats & trousers are always too short for my arms & legs.

I don't mind travelling a bit inside HK to get sth that suits me (my size 41 feet brings to the TST Star ferry shoe shop, especially on that purpose), but the price has to be reasonnable (matching local mid range prices).

Pls. let me know when you plan to open it and where + put some advertising is expat websites & magazines... if the service is good, word of mouth should do the rest..

Alleluia! There is such a need. How great to have another option! I LOVED T.J.Maxx in the states, discounted designer and regular clothing. Spoiled, hate paying retail...expecially here! Will watch for your opening!!!!

I am very interested!! Would prefer a shop to a website for the reasons stated above. Please let us know when you are likely to start. I guess you will have a long line of customers bashing your door down on the first day!! Good Luck!

It would be a dream to have western style/made clothes in those sizes.

Eveylyn B is OK but their cut seems Asian to me. Nothing ever fits right.

Rosarini same - cut for Asian bodies even if they have large sizes.
