Babies in movies

ORIGINAL POST

I really want to go see the new Simpsons movie, but I have to bring along my baby (a month and still only breast feeding). Does anyone know if we can bring a baby to the movies if we go during the week in an afternoon showing? At a month old, he's stil VERY quiet... Is there a "baby movie showing" at any time at any theater?

Thanks!

You can take your baby, but you may be asked to get a ticket. Theres a sign up at festival walk stating that everyone needs an entrance ticket.

I took my little one (now 18 months) to the IFC cinema when she was about that age. I had her in a Bjorn and didnt have to buy her a ticket!

I would just wait for the DVD ..... if your baby start fussing in the theater, and you have to leave.... then you watched bits and pieces of the movie.... which would be such a WASTE if it was a good movie! Movies in theater experience are only good if you watch from beginning to end with NO interruptions! Right?
