Gyno / out- patient ( viginal problem)

Could be just a yeast / fungus (that will stay & hitch until you get the proper cream/medication - usually caused by food imbalance or consequences of antibiotic consumptions on the V. flora) or sth that deserve more attention : only a proper Gyne can assess it.

Heard they are some mother & child goverment clinics where you can also get screened for a modest govermental fee or at worst the emergency ward of a public hospital (be prepared to wait).

Whatever your decision, in the meantime, do not eat cheese nor drink wine or beers, refrain on baked breads & cakes (with natural yeast), don't smoke and eat daily natural yoghurt (with live bacteria) to reconstitute the V. flora (but no cheese as will have the opposite effect).

Good luck

if the self medication doesn't work you could also just see a regular GP. they are able to test for this stuff. probalby not one of those single doctor clinics though. try one of the bigger ones. much cheaper than seeing the Gyno!

Niju,

I don"t know what is the LEEP operation you talked about in your initial post, but whatever you think you have, especially if you recently had an operation, you should seek medical advice, even if it's only the GP or public hospital.

Good luck & best recovery

Niju, I have on and off "itches" last year and I saw my local GP.

Any local GP should be able to help you. They will prescribe the appropriate medication. Then if it doesn't work, they'll prescribe a lab that can do further testing for you. Mine was a urine lab test (3 days) and I got prescribed the correct antibiotics. I had ecoli bacteria with my itch.

Make sure you see a dr quickly so that the infection doesn't worsen. My dr also said lots of water + cotton ONLY undies.
