Many of the pros use a shop on Stanley St Central called Photo Scientific.
Just bought a new camera there... without haggling they gave a me a very good price (cheaper than what my brother got for the same camera after shopping around).

Photo Scientific is good and reputable. Ask to speak to Peter. You can also try Wing Shing and Man Shing in Mongkok - Sai Yeung Choi Street. Mongkok stores will be slightly cheaper than Central but service will not be as good.

Just like to piggy back on photographic supplies and others.
1. Where is a good place to get camera bags, LowePro Sling shots, etc. I find the prices here quite high. Are there places which sells good used goods?
2. It is worthwhile to take out extended warantee on SLRs and lens in this town. I bought my 20D and a few lenses here.
Thanks

Camera bags - a good place to get this is Tin Cheung in TST (I think it is on Granville and Nathan). On the HK side try Stanley Street or the Wan Chai Computer Mall or 298 in Wan Chai.
Used - Most people don't sell used bags - for example, I have 5 different bags depending on what I need to carry.
If you like Sling bags try the Crumpler brand. Much better material than Lowepro. Can get at the two Wan Chai locations mentioned.
Extended warrantee - not worthwhile on digital cameras for two reasons - if you are going to have an issue, it will be at the beginning, plus these cameras depreciate tremendously. Cheaper for you to buy a used than to fix any problem.

Thanks Philly Cheese for your advice.
Know what you mean about the need for different camera bags. Despite my humble collection of lens and 2 SLRs, I'd be hard pressed to find an all purpose one.
Cheers
