Hi, I'm about to book a package of home visits and I'm trying to decide between Yvonne Heavyside and Hulda Thorey. I hear wonderful things about both of them...any thoughts?
Alternatively, is there someone else you would highly recommend?

I think it kind of depends on your own personality, background and expectations.
I've used both Mrs Chee adn Hulda in the past. Hulda is warm, comforting, helpful, insightful, calming and reassuring. She keeps you calm througout that frantic newborn period. I'm sure Mrs Chee is too, but i only used her for extreme breastfeeding problems which H and I couldnt sort out on our own. VERY different characters tho i must say.
i felt my money with Hulda was some of the best spent ever and would highly recommend her. I'd say if you were struggling with the b/feeding, then move on to Mrs. chee.
must note, i found both H & mrs c similarly priced

yvonne is very nice and relaxed you immediateley feel comfortable with her. but i didn't use her for home visits and i've never met hulda. i think yvonne has a good sense of humour too which might help at this time
