Hi
I haven't dived for at least 7 years and as I will be holidaying in Maldives at the end of the month, I would like to go for a refresher course.
They are a number of PADI certified shops in HK and I don't know which ones are good. Can anyone recommend?
I am in mid-levels HK island and prefer a dive shop/school in HK. I also do not have any equipment.
Also, is there anything else I should be aware of?

I can highly recommend Pro-Dive

Go to their Wanchai shop and talk to the guys, they are very good. Friends of mine did their open water diver course there before going to the Maldives. We bought most of our dive equipment there and rented a regulator for a friend when we went diving to Cebu.

Enjoy the diving there, it is brilliant. We went there last year. Best dives are in the morning - best visibility. You are not allowed to dive without a dive computer in the Maldives. You can rent one at the resorts for somewhat between 5 - 10 US$ per day.
