Hi all.
I am just curious about what the schooling time is for children aged 3 - 6 in the city that you live.
In Bangkok, most of schools for children that aged group have 6 hour class every day, e.g. start at 8.30 am and finish at 2.30pm. They will have lunch at school. I think it's a bit too long for them. That long hour makes the schools here are almost similar to day care centres in other countries.
How about in the city that you live?
Thanks ya

Hi again...
I wonder about the schooling time in the city that you live, e.g. in Beijing, HK, Shenzen, etc. Any information on this? Thanks in advance

Yeah, in my opinion it's too long for a 3 year old, but this is normal in Bangkok. Today is the first day my son going to school. I hope he can settle easily at school, hope he will like the lunch there and hope there will be no traffic jammed in the afternoon so he can reach home earlier.... *_*
How about the schooling time in the city like Shenzen, Beijing or Shanghai? My husband may get posted in one of these cities in the future...

In HK, many Kindergardens are half day, 3 hours, i.e. 9-12 or 1-4. Normal primary school hours in the English/international system for 5 years upwards are 8.30 to 2.30, with a 20min morning break and an hour for lunch.
