I'm having a new kitchen fitted and need an electric oven, 4-hob gas hob and extractor fan/hood.
I've been disappointed with the choice around and am on a strict budget - anyone got any good suppliers?
was v disappointed with B&Q - very local style gas hobs (for woks) and much more expensive than the UK. Also their gas water heater (for bathroom) were mostly Towngas.

miele, pogghen pohl and other european brands have showrooms - go around wanchai and causway bay.
of course town gas supplies majority of the heaters - after all they are supplying the gas and offer appliances that would work with their service.

Have you looked upstairs in the Panasonic centre in Wanchai? It's right by the MTR - look for the large blue logo. It has a small range of ovens and hobs etc. by Electrolux and other manufacturers. Certainly not as cheap as UK, but more in line with your budget than miele and the likes.

Try going to Shanghai Street - there are a couple of shops there that sells the extractor fan/hood as well as gas stoves - local brand - much cheaper than Town Gas or the other European Brand names.

i got my kitchen fitted out with smeg appliances. not the cheapest and not the most expensive by far. i got all that you want (above) plus a top of the range microwave. walked out about $27,000 lighter in pocket but happy with all that i got. the showroom was at Lan Kwai Fong when I purchased but it says different on the webpage so best to phone and check.
they'll charge for installation but you can negotiate this and a little on the liste price too.
