Hi,
I am about to wean my 18 month old from the breast onto soy milk (he is allergic to dairy) but am unsure how much someone his age needs to be drinking. He has a great appetite and eats plenty of meat, rice, fruit and veggies. Oh and he LOVES his "booby" so theres no lack in his current breastmilk intake.
Any suggestions?

same - ours are 15mnths - around 200ml in the morning, about the same at 2.30 and about the same bed time.. Plus milk in cooking, cereal etc

Different sources give different amounts but between one and three years of age the recommended milk intake is approximately 480 to 600 ml per day.Your child may not want or be able to consume 500 ml per day so serve milk in other ways.
Remember milk can be served as a shake, smoothie or custard. Use milk in soups, make white sauces and add to vegetables.
