Just moved to Hong Kong, we have a 14-year old in the family. He is currently home schooled and it is not so easy to meet kids the sam age. He would love to join a soccer team or ice hockey team, or just about any activity where he could meet kids around the same age. Grateful for any suggestions :-)!

There is an ice hockey league in Hong Kong for both adults and kids. I dont know the contact for the kids league (play at festival walk) but you can get in touch with Keith Fong of Rink Management Group - (MEGA BOX) and he will be definetely able to point you in the right direction. molly_m... May I ask why your son is home schooled? At 14 I would imagine he would benefit more going to a normal school, so he can meet other kids and develop his personality. I moved a lot with my family when I was young, changed quite a few schools but always enjoyed the new environments...

Not really home schooled by choice, he will only be here till Christmas, so for this semester he just had to bring his books from his home school...so going to a school here would definately be the best choice for him, but is not practically doable at the moment. So that's why we're trying to meet friends outside of school...:-)
